Life
Hi everyone! Well, back during our senior year while we were all on our Christmas Break, I got married. By the time I graduated we started our family. The first of my three daughters was born shortly before our first wedding anniversary. I did not work much while my daughters were little. We eventually settled in Hope, Indiana to raise our family. Fifteen years later our marriage went sour and we eventually separated, then divorced. By then I was working for the Military Department of Indiana as an admin. asst. and living in Indy. A couple of years later I rented a house in Shelbyville, fell in love with the community and decided to buy my own home there. I am still single - over five years after the divorce. esign, reading, interior decorating, sewing, etc.), going out with friends to dinner and the movies, and spending time with my kids and my grandchildren! Being a Grandma is absolutely wonderful. I am having the time of my life. I still work for the same agency - have recently accepted a position in another department there, and I remain active as a volunteer with their Family Readiness Group program. My kids are now grown, my youngest is now a Sophmore in High School, my middle daughter is in nursing school, and my oldest (the new Mom) just recently accepted her dream teaching position. My son-in-law is the son I never had. As if I don't have enough to do, I took on a part-time job too. I need a life...but I don't know when I would fit it in!! (ha, ha)
